Lessons
By the Spirit Music offers private music lessons for piano, guitar, and ukulele. Lessons are available online or in-person.
We believe everyone has the potential to play beautiful music and we tailor our lessons to each student’s needs and goals. We offer a variety of styles and genres to choose from.
Individual lessons are $25 per half hour or $45 per hour. Families are always welcome and a discount is offered for additional family members.

Devin Inman – Piano, Guitar & Ukulele Teacher
Devin Inman, founder of By the Spirit Music, has been teaching piano, guitar, and ukulele since 2019. He studied at Hood College where he got his bachelor’s degree in Music Performance with a focus on music composition.
Devin has played in countless ensembles on a wide variety of instruments including piano, synthesizer, acoustic and electric guitar, ukulele, mandolin, horn, and trumpet. When not teaching, he writes music and leads contemporary worship bands, which he has done since 2015.
Music is Devin’s passion. He strives to teach in a way that makes learning to play music and music theory easy and fun.
